Live theatre is back

Where? At Samford University’s newly-renovated Harrison Theatre and we are applauding. This Thursday-Sunday, Oct. 28-31, see local actors from Samford Arts + Miles College in Crumbs from the Table of Joy. The coming-of-age story follows the memories of Ernestine, a 17-year-old African American, and the ways in which in her family finds peace after the loss of her mother. This play is a must-see, so get your tickets now

The grills ignite!

Saturday, Oct. 30 marks the 25th annual Children’s Harbor Pig Iron BBQ Cook-Off, and it’s going to be an A1 time. Held at Cahaba Brewing Co. from 4-7PM, taste some local ‘cue + jam to live music, all while supporting a good cause. Tickets available here

It’s absolutely TERRIFYING… or is it?

Fun and frightening go hand in hand this pumpkin-lovin’ weekend, and The Fennec is ready! They’re hosting their first Halloween party on Friday, Oct. 29 from 8PM-2AM, and it’s sure to be a blast. Adulting IS fun

Looking to attend an adult Halloween party? The Pizitz After Dark—Spooky Edition event is the good time you’re seeking. Join in on all the hocus pooches on Saturday, Oct. 30 from 8PM-Midnight for Tarot card readings, live DJs + lots of LED circus performers. The fun is free—don’t miss a moment.
