Support your community + save big 🛍️
Here’s how Shop Save & Share works: you purchase a shopping card for just $40, and then you’ll get 20% off and other exclusive offers at all participating stores located throughout Birmingham and beyond—from Chelsea to Trussville, to Homewood and Hoover and more.
100% of profits from this event support the JLB’s 31 community projects benefitting Birmingham women and children. Your card purchase can provide:
- An entire outfit for a survivor of sexual assault who has given their clothing as evidence through the Crisis Center: Rape Response Advocate Program
- Weekly food staples and supplies for one student for two months through Vineyard Family Services’ Backpack Buddies
- Diapers for a child in need for one month through the JLB’s Diaper Bank
- The opportunity for six children to take a field trip to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens through the Birmingham Botanical Gardens’ Can You Dig It? Program
- One month worth of groceries for a senior in need through Collat Jewish Family Services’ Senior Grocery Delivery Service
“Shop Save & Share goes above and beyond selling discount cards and hosting shopping events. This event is special to all of us at the Junior League of Birmingham because it benefits the community in more ways than one—by supporting local businesses in need during this time and also by raising money toward our 31 community projects that improve the lives of women and children across Birmingham. One card costs $40, but helping those in need is priceless.”Megan Watson, Chair, Shop Save & Share

We’re big fans of supporting the amazing local businesses of Birmingham, and it’s even better when you see how they show love to nonprofits like the Junior League of Birmingham. Over the past 16 years, the initiative has raised more than $750,000 for the JLB’s community projects. That means your $40 purchase creates a major impact.
