1. Pinchgut Pies
Newly opened in the Trussville Entertainment District is Pinchgut Pies.
Brand new to the food scene, the eatery is making its mark on locals with its tasty pizzas and brews and eclectic atmosphere.
I can vouch for this place. When you eat here, you won’t have to worry about doughy, undercooked ‘za, because Pinchgut serves up REAL pizza. The kind that offers the perfect combo of crispy, chewy perfection.
We polled locals on their favorite pie from Pinchgut Pies. Which pizza won? The Chicken Pesto. The Pepperoni came in second place with the Gator Bait close behind in third.

3. Wing It On!
Not being much of a wing fan, I suggested Bham Now’s photographer, Jacob Blankenship, check out this new spot in Trussville and report back to me with his findings. As a huge wing fan, he happily took the bait. Here’s what he had to say:
“I ordered the Classic Wings with the Nashville Hot signature sauce and the Kick’n Cajun Waffle Fries. Both were definitely worth the trip. What I thought was cool was how many signature spices they offer for wings and fries.”

I may not be a wing fan, but those fries sure do look delicious.
