Tula J Boutique is a southern chic boutique in the Trussville area that carries merchandise catering to women including:

  • Clothing (sizes S-3X)
  • Shoes
  • Jewelry
  • Accessories
  • Candles
  • And more

Owner Ashley Posey first started the business in 2013 with the hopes of bringing confidence and trendy fashion to the women of Trussville—so they wouldn’t have to go outside of Trussville to shop.

“Our goal is to personalize attention to customers and help them feel good about themselves, no matter what shape or size they are.”

The concept of Tula J Boutique is almost like a big closet. The customers come in, explain what they are looking for and Posey and her staff create the looks for them with pieces available in the store.

Retail therapy, anyone?

Posey’s goal of being in the heart of downtown Trussville and bringing a personalized shopping experience to the women of Trussville has clearly been a success—the business is well in its eighth year.

“I enjoy being in Trussville. I love the people and we’ve made lots of friendship here. Our couch is therapy—not always retail. In this business, I get to know my customers and that’s what I enjoy about it.”

Posey said that she loves being a small town boutique. Customers don’t have to call a corporate office, they can come talk to her and her staff directly.

“I like to be hands on. I like to be here, know my customers and that’s just what I enjoy. Having this one location is fulfilling enough.”
