Stage play lovers, you won’t want to miss this news. Live theatre productions are back! Here’s a list of six upcoming college theatre events that you should check out.
Several college theatre departments are putting on stage productions in the Birmingham area. Check out these upcoming shows.
Birmingham-Southern College
Do you remember the play “The Arcadia” (also known as “The Go-Go’s Musical)? Well, Birmingham-Southern Department of Theatre will be performing the Broadway musical rendition “Head Over Heels“ this November.
Seating for all events in The Underground is limited and reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets go on sale three weeks prior to opening night for BSC Arts Alliance members and two weeks prior to opening night for the general public.

University of Alabama at Birmingham
With two upcoming productions, UAB will be celebrating community and inclusion in October with “Godspell” and providing comic relief through Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing.” Which will you cry—tears of joy or laughter?

Samford University
Samford University’s Department of Theatre will be taking their audience through life journeys in two productions.

University of Montevallo
The University of Montevallo’s Theatre Department will be performing Marcus Lane’s adaptation of “As You Like It” by Wiliiam Shakespeare—I’m sure you’ll love it.
