Out of all the rooftop bars on our list, this one is the most secretive. Looking over Region’s Field, this is a speakeasy on the rooftop of Michael’s Parkside Restaurant. You’ll have to text “CODEWORD” to (855) 782-0225 to get in. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

2. Carrigan’s Public House

This Birmingham rooftop bar on historic Morris Avenue has been a popular spot for several years. They have a great selection of cocktails and martinis alongside a rotating selection of beer and wine.

3. Habitat Feed and Social

This colorful spot is located in the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Mountain Brook. In addition to a rooftop bar, it’s also a farm-to-table restaurant with cooking classes and wine tastings.

4. Mayawell

Feeling like a trip to Mexico while in Avondale? Mayawell’s owner Neill Crook did that for you and brought back food and drinks inspired from his travels to Mexico. And yes, he brought back tequila too.

One of the rooftop bars is Moon Shine Bar at the Elyton Hotel downtown. This bar has some amazing views of both downtown and Red Mountain.

8. The Roof

Talk about an aptly-named bar. The Roof is a breezy rooftop bar located on top of the Redmont Hotel on Fifth Ave. Like Moon Shine, it boasts some spectacular views.
