The Literacy Council hosts their crowd-favorite Kickin’ Chicken fundraiser on Saturday, August 28. This year’s event is virtual, so hit the couch from 5-6PM for an evening of entertainment, stories about the lives changed through this incredible organization, plus a few surprises. Watch + Donate

Entertained, engaged and enlightened

On Saturday, August 28, tune in to United Ability’s virtual event, Journey of Hope. Streamed live from the Red Mountain Theatre Arts Campus, enjoy an evening of honorees, performances and a silent auction. Run for the 140 million

Take to the racecourse on Saturday, August 28 for the Lifeline R(un) for One 5K. The goal: to provide for the needs of the 140 million unadopted children around the world. The race takes place at Veteran’s Park in Hoover. Register now
