Photography Classes
Architectural Photography
Description: Discover architectural photography, exterior and interiors with technical challenges of composition, distortion and lighting. Assignments emphasis designs, styles, eras and on-location problem-solving.
Prerequisites: Classes “Photography I” and “Understanding Your Canon/Nikon/Sony”
Additional Requirements: DSLR Camera, tripod. Students must be ages 18+ and either be a high school graduate or have a GED.

Creative Fine-Art Photography
Description: Examine the basic fine-art image constructs of subject selection, lighting, composition, colors, tones, moods, depth + perspective. Students will also learn specific creative photographic techniques, such as infrared, black and white and multiple imaging.
Prerequisites: Ages 18+, Class “Photography I”, Photoshop and Lightroom, or permission of the instructor

Essential Color Printing
Description: Learn how to prepare photo files for printing and the equipment needed to do so via Adobe Lightroom and other software.
Prerequisites: Ages 18+, Photography I Class “Adobe Lightroom”. Requirement for the Academy of the Arts Capstone Certificate.
Additional Requirements: Personal photos you consider candidates for printing. Knowledge of photo editing software helpful but not required, thumb drive or knowledge of/willingness to learn online file sharing.
