It’s no secret that Birminghamians love their pets. And what better way to show off those precious fur-babies than with their own Instagram account? We found 7 totally adorable pets you need to follow on Instagram!

1. Radar the Cat β€” @radarthecatt

“I might not have eyes but that doesn’t keep me from being a frisky kitty🐯”

@radarthecatt

Radar the Cat may have been born without eyes, but he has a big heart full of love. Years ago, the Greater Birmingham Humane Society (@ghbs) posted a photo of Radar on Instagram in hopes of finding his fur-ever home. In a few short hours, Radar had stolen the hearts of thousands of Birminghamians and had found a home with all the snuggles a blind kitty could ask for.

2. Panther and Simone β€” @pantherandsimone_tuxies

Described as “the old married couple of the Newman household”, Panther and Simone are two kitties that always dress to impress (it helps when your fur already looks like a tuxedo). Panther is a rescue from the Shelby County Humane Society, while Simone came from Kitty Cat Haven!

3. Presley β€” @vestaviafamilydentistry

Presley the Aussiedoodle is one of the newest (and most adorable) employees at Vestavia Family Dentistry & Facial Aesthetics. And I’m not making that up. Presley plays a very important role in her role as an emotional support puppy at this dentistry. Since many young patients are nervous during their first visit to the dentist, Presley will sit in their lap, wag her tail and remind the patient that everything is going to be okay!

4. Luna β€” @ourluneygirl

Lovingly referred to as “Luna the Lunatic”, this adorable puppy lives with two of my best friends from collegeβ€”so I might be a bit biased! In fact, I regularly receive videos of Luna running around the house with “the zoomies”!

5. Bear β€” @bearyhappylife

There is something so undeniably endearing about the smile of a Golden Retriever, and Bear is no exception! This happy pupper leads an active lifestyle, so the odds of encountering him at Oak Mountain State Park, Railroad Park

6. Boone β€” @boone2thewild

Clearly, Birmingham has a thing for Golden Retrievers! Just like Bear, Boone the Golden Boy is a very active pup. He enjoys hikes, swimming, going to Baron’s games at Region’s Field andβ€”of courseβ€”playing with a good stick.

7. Socks β€” @pinsonlibrary

Apparently, cats can have jobs! Looks like I’ll need to have a conversation with my jobless kitty when I get home. Socks is a hardworking Library Cat at the Pinson Public Library, and is always down for a good lap cuddle. In fact, Socks won Birmingham’s Coolest Cat last year!
