For me, summer is synonymous with sitting around a table with friends, elbow-deep in crawfish, potatoes and corn-on-the-cob. If you want the real Southern crawfish boil experience, traditional spicy Cajun flavoring is the way to go. You can always steam up your own crawfish boil at home, but I prefer to keep it simple and pick up a bag of crawfish—potatoes and corn included—from one of these Birmingham Cajun seafood spots. Just make sure you do it soon—the local crawfish season will be through by mid-June!
