Thank you, Austin ❤️

It really is more than a game. Did you know GO Kickball is responsible for around 70+ marriages, a handful of children and countless lifelong friendships? These priceless rewards are all thanks to Austin Boyd, who founded Birmingham GO kickball in 2008.

Austin passed away in September of 2020 and his presence will be greatly missed. He helped form a loving, competitive and energetic community in our city. His legacy will carry forward in GO Kickball’s players—on and off the field.

Austin’s wife, Lee Boyd, now fills the Birmingham GO Kickball Market Director role and will continue to run the league for hopefully many more seasons.
