The countdown to Halloween 2020 is on, and Birmingham is full of spooky events for all ages. Here are the top nine ghoulish events to check out this year.
1. The Pizitz After Dark – Spooky Edition

3. The Rocky Horror Mask-erade Ball
Halloween without some Rocky Horror? Never! On Friday, October 24, Avondale Brewing Company hosts The Rocky Horror Mask-erade Ball—and you won’t want to miss out.

4. Halloween Parade
The typical trunk-or-treat gets a COVID–style update this year at Asbury United Methodist Church. On Sunday, October 25, buckle up for a drive-through Halloween Parade.
Cars/trunks will sit along the parade route decorated to the nines in true trunk-or-treat fashion. Just stop at each trunk and have candy delivered right to your window. Talk about first-class candy service.
Free hot dog meals will also be passed out while supplies last, so be sure to get there early to score some grub.

On October 30 and 31, visit McWane and participate in a science scavenger hunt throughout the museum. Those who complete the hunt will receive a prize, along with an extra chance to win even more prizes like free membership to McWane for a whole year!
