I don’t know about you, but spending all this time inside has me rethinking every room in my house. I’ve rearranged and decluttered, but nothing inspires me more than seeing how other people transform their space.

The Elliotts’ room transformation happened at the perfect time.
As a family of five with three young ones, redecorating a room was definitely not at the top of the Elliott family’s to-do list. But they always dreamed of having a space that would bring their family together, and they really wanted a sectional large enough for the whole family to pile onto and enjoy.
Originally, that’s the only thing Rush and Candice Elliott went to La-Z-Boy to look for, but instead, they left with an entire room transformation, courtesy of La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries.
As Rush and Candice were browsing fabrics, they ran into Curt Morris, Owner of La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries in Birmingham. He wanted to give away an entire room transformation, and they were the lucky family to receive it.

- They offer free in-home and in-store consultations.

- Next, they will present a customized design plan so you can visualize the finished space.
- And finally, you can watch the designers decorate the space, or wait for the reveal.
The best part? The designers will handle every detail—from white-glove delivery to the finishing touches.
All the little details of the space brought it together.
For the Elliotts’ transformation, the La-Z-Boy team was hands-on the whole way and made the transition seamless. The room was a blank canvas, and with the help of awesome movers and the designers, the team brought each piece in and helped turn the Elliotts’ dream family room into their reality.
The designers took every inch of the room into consideration. From hanging family photos to styling their coffee table—all of the finishing touches made the room feel cozy and complete.

Checking in a month after the makeover.
A lot has changed since the Elliotts transformed their family room. And we’re sure it is getting a lot of good use during this quarantine. Here’s an update from the Elliotts a month after the makeover:
“We have definitely spent more time together on the sofa since the makeover, and especially since the quarantine. Pretty much every night is movie night. I have carried each of the kids to their beds multiple times after they have fallen asleep on the couch…
