It’s weird to think that just a few weeks ago, we were looking forward to fun events around Birmingham. Social distancing gives us plenty of time to update our calendars. Here’s the rundown of new dates for some of your fave local events.

1. 2020 Regions Tradition

Get ready for a Birmingham tradition played at Greystone Golf and Country Club that some consider the Masters of the PGA Tour. This star-studded event has raised over $19 million benefiting charities including Children’s of Alabama. It’s the social event of the year!

2. St. Elias Lebanese Food and Cultural Festival

Lebanese delicacies, dancing and music—I’ll be there! St. Elias Maronite Catholic Church is gearing up for their 22nd Annual Lebanese Food and Cultural Festival and we’re ready to celebrate.

3. Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama’s Pink Palace Casino Night 2020

Enjoy Vegas-style casino gaming, live entertainment, drinks, food and it’s all for a good cause. It’s an excuse to let loose and the proceeds benefit breast cancer research in Alabama. It’s a win-win.

4. Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama’s Pink up the Pace 5k

Get ready for a pink color run that’s a blast for the entire family. There’ll be food, drinks, games and even live music to jam out to after the race. The event benefits breast cancer research in Alabama.

5. BHM 26.2

Birmingham will be welcoming runners from all over for BHM 26.2’s event that features a marathon, half-marathon, team relay, 5k and fun run. The proceeds benefit Magic Moments and Children’s of Alabama. It’s a good way to get active while also giving back.

6. St. Jude Field of Dreams

St. Jude is hosting its 6th annual Field of Dreams at the Grand Bohemian Hotel. Enjoy live entertainment, dancing and inspirational stories from St. Jude patients. We could all use some inspiration and you get to have fun for a good cause! All proceeds benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

7. 8th Annual CahabaQue

Head on over to Cahaba Brewing Company for barbeque and brews—a dynamic duo! This kid-friendly, family fun event is a BBQ cook-off you don’t want to miss with proceeds benefitting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama.

8. Alabama Symphony Orchestra Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban™ in Concert

Calling all Harry Potter and ASO fans. Relive the magic of J.K. Rowling’s third installment in her classic saga. The thrilling tail is accompanied by the Alabama Symphony Orchestra while Harry Potter soars across the big screen. The box office set up a special hotline for this situation. Patrons can call 205-975-2336 to have questions answered.
