Who is Mitchell’s Place?

Mitchell’s Place is an inclusive, accredited preschool and outpatient clinic located off exit 23 towards Irondale. And there’s something truly special about it. 

Mitchell’s Place specializes in improving the lives of children and families affected by autism and other developmental disabilities. Through the work of highly qualified and caring therapists, analysts and teachers they provide individualized treatment plans to help unlock each child’s potential.

Mitchell’s Place offers a number of helpful services, including:

  • Early learning preschool
  • Applied behavioral analysis
  • Occupational therapy
  • Speech therapy
  • Psychiatry
  • Group programs

What’s amazing is that since opening its doors in 2005, Mitchell’s Place has helped more than 4,000 children in the greater Birmingham area.

From November 1 through December 25, Mitchell’s Place has teamed up with Royal Cup for their annual Coffee For a Cause fundraiser. The goal: to sell bags of Specialty Holiday Coffee to raise funds for Mitchell’s Place.
