There’s lots going on at Brookwood Village just over the mountain in Homewood. As one of the longest-standing Birmingham shopping destinations over the last 45 years, it’s been a permanent fixture for retail in the area. Find out how it’s evolving, what’s new, and what’s coming soon.

Anne Stephens, specialty leasing and marketing coordinator said,

“We are thrilled to welcome a variety of new hyper-local tenants to Brookwood Village who will help drive foot traffic and offer community members a more interactive experience.”

Stephens explained that “offering more local boutiques, restaurants, and entertainment offerings show that Brookwood is far more than just a shopping mall, but a community gathering place and evolving entertainment destination.”

There’s a host of new additions and updates, with more openings planned very soon.

Let’s get to it – here’s the deets!

Do you love the color white? White Flowers is a Birmingham family owned boutique of 30 years and everything they sell is white. When you walk in their shop you feel like you’ve been transported to another world of peace and serenity.  From pillows and hand towels, to decor and clothing for all ages, you’ll find them all in all white. Perfect for wedding showers, gifts or as a quick respite stop from the hustle and bustle.

White Flowers relocated to Brookwood Village last fall, after being on a corner in downtown Homewood for several years.  They recently moved downstairs in Brookwood Village into a new space which has (wait for it) an all white storefront!

3) Butterflies and Magnolia

Who doesn’t love gelato? It has less fat and some say more flavor than ice cream (we still love ice cream too, though).

Canella Gelato will be opening at the food court. There’s no word on an opening date yet but it couldn’t come sooner.
