Someone grab the party hats—Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama (RMHCA) is turning 40! To celebrate, they want to raise $40K in four weeks, and they need your help! Find out everything you need to know about the challenge plus ways to contribute during the whole month of June.

RMHCA’s $40K for 40 Years

What began as a 10-bedroom house in Birmingham’s Southside neighborhood in 1979, is now one of Birmingham’s most beloved charities. RMCHA is celebrating 40 years of helping families traveling to Birmingham due to a child’s illness. It’s been more than a roof over their heads and food in their mouths… It’s been peace of mind and a temporary home for so many.

In anticipation of reaching the fundraising goal of $40,000, fans and supporters are invited to Ronald McDonald House Night at the Birmingham Barons on Saturday, June 29. The Barons will auction off a very special baseball jersey to benefit RMHCA. There will be giveaways, and a prize will set up at the front gate while supplies last! Their special guests will be RMHCA families—plus everyone’s favorite: Ronald McDonald himself!
