On and Off the Track

On track, watch fast-paced, wheel-to-wheel racing with cars from the early days to the mid-1980s as they race the infamous track at Barber Motorsports Park.

Off the track, get ready to ooh and aah over one-of-a-kind sports cars and participate in fun family-friendly activities.

What’s extra cool about Barber Historics though is that fans like you can actually stroll the paddock to view all of the incredible cars and speak with the drivers. I’m not dropping any names, but you may even spot some driving legends on the racetrack!

Lap the Track in a Porsche

Have you ever dreamed of riding alongside a professional driver? What about inside a sleek Porsche? Now is your chance! On Saturday, May 18 from 9AM-4PM, you can ride with a pro during the Porsche Track Experience Hot Lap event.

This thrilling ride will have you on the edge of your seat as you lap the track and learn just what the Porsche is made of.

Experience the rush for a $10 donation. All proceeds benefit Children’s of Alabama.

Barber Small Bore—June 7-9

Happening June 7-9, Barber Motorsports Park is teaming up with SCMiniGP to bring you their most exciting, high-energy, rip-up-the-track small bore racing event yet. So get the engine ready in your small-capacity scooters and motorcycles and your heart pumping for a weekend you won’t forget. Buy your tickets now.

Not only will you have the exciting chance to watch others race during Barber Motorsports Small Bore event. But there will be plenty of on-track entertainment to take part in, too. Here’s a look at what you and your small bore can do at this exhilarating event.

Race the Drag Strip

Take part in the most vintage form of racing when you run the drag strip during Barber Motorsports Small Bore event. The best part—you can go as fast as your engine can muster because there are no speeding tickets on this drag strip!

Be sure to bring your fastest small bore to race down the Yoshimura JDM Spec 1/32-mile track. Best time wins a Yoshimura trophy.

This is a FREE run. On-site registration is required.

Ride for Glory in the Bike Show

Ride for glory during the Barber Small Bore Bike Show on Saturday, June 8. During this exciting race, three classes of bikes will compete: vintage, custom and modern. Winners of each race will be awarded trophies.

All bikes are welcome to ride. Registration is required.

The race starts at 9AM sharp!

Test Your Skills During the Gymkhana Competition

Each day of the Small Bore event, the Gymkhana course will change to increase its level difficulty. This means an ever-changing track to test your skills on. Awesome!

This race is all about fun—no competing necessary. On-site registration is required.
