Gather your supporters, friends, family and more for the Birmingham Funky Fun Run & 5K. This run celebrates the unique abilities individuals with autism bring to the community.
Participate in the Funky Fun Run—an untimed, zero competition walk or time yourself in the 5K race. No matter which race you choose to take part in, all are welcome!

Get ready for some amazing eats during the 7th annual BBQ Cook Off benefitting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama. Happening at Cahaba Brewing Company, be there as teams battle to see who makes the best barbecue. Yes, you’ll be able to sample it all!

2019 Funky Fish Fry
April is autism awareness month. What better way to help raise money and awareness than to attend the 2019 Funky Fish Fry, benefitting the Alabama Autism Society and Mitchell’s Place. During the event:

9th Annual Girls Inc. Cajun Cook Off
On Saturday, April 6, make plans to attend the Girls Inc. Cajun Cook Off. This fun-filled, family-friendly event features a Cajun cooking competition set to the beat of live music. There will also be:

During the event, you’ll have the chance to taste-test all of your cajun favorites and vote to determine the winner of the cook off. All funds benefit Girls Inc. of Central Alabama.

On Sunday, April 7, hit the track for Sozo Children’s 8th Annual Run for a Reason 5K in Avondale. With your support, Sozo Children can continue their mission of providing care for children in Uganda, Africa.

BHM26.2 Race Series
Start carbo loading now Birmingham, it’s almost time for the BHM 26.2 Race Series. Made up of a full marathon, half marathon, marathon relay and fun run, this is Alabama’s only fully charitable marathon event. And it benefits two very worthy charities—Magic Moments and Children’s of Alabama.
The race starts and finishes at Railroad Park and will show off a fresh, new course with no repeats or loops as it takes you past multiple iconic Birmingham landmarks.

During the event, some of Birmingham’s finest bartenders and mixologists will be serving up incredible cocktails. There will also be:
