Who is Taco Mama?

Taco Mama first hit the Birmingham food scene in 2011 when it opened in Crestline Village. The idea came from Birmingham native Will Haver. His plan—to bring a fun, casual and unique dining experience to the community where he was born and raised.

After much success, Taco Mama now has five locations across the greater Birmingham area. Whoa! That’s a whole lotta tacos.

What’s really great about Taco Mama is that it’s a place everyone will enjoy because it offers variety. From taco and burrito baskets to build-your-own entrees, there are plenty of items to choose from.

Not only do they have fab tacos, burritos and other Mexican favorites, but they also serve food that is clean and healthy. Take the build-your-own burrito bowl for example. Just like a burrito, but served in a bowl instead of a tortilla, you can load it up with a variety of whole, real food items that are prepared fresh. You can pile on the toppings for no extra charge, too!

2. It’s Affordable

Going out to eat can be a whole lot of fun. But it sure can take a sour turn when you get the check at the end of the meal. This isn’t the case at Taco Mama. With prices that range from just $8 to $12, affordability is one area in which this restaurant really shines.

Another reason locals in Birmingham love Taco Mama is that they offer catering services. Can you imagine showing up to a work meeting or party and finding out Taco Mama catered the event? Taco-bout exciting!
