How do they do it?
Well, making mouth-watering bagels takes a team.
Its all about working together, and these partners know how its done. Each bringing with them a unique perspective and skill set. Dreaming of a Jewish deli with a Montreal influence, Joel Tietolman opened Mile End Deli’s first storefront in New York City in 2012. Partner Max Levine has also been apart of the company since the beginning and has offered his wisdom and knowledge of the city as an NYC native.
Partners in the South
When Tietolman and Levine decided to expand to the South they chose Adam Grusin and Nick Pihakis to join the Mile End Deli crew. Grusin has had quite the culinary career. With an extreme interest in old Jewish American deli’s, he was a natural fit with Mile End Deli’s culture. Leading the Pihakis Restaurant Group, Pihakis has been in the restaurant world since he was 19 and has led the charge with many respected and well-known restaurants which exceeded expectations.
With a divine menu that will surely fit your fancy, Mile End Deli believes in fresh produce and time-honored traditional philosophies that make their comfort food stand out. Based on Montreal restaurants and focusing on Jewish-inspired cuisine, Mile End Deli believes in a family-focused atmosphere.
