United Way of Central Alabama is seeking to fill two critical senior administrative support level positions and a Director of Grants Management position that was newly posted this month.

“The grants management director is part of a dynamic team that secures funding and tracks outcomes for United Way’s direct services that change lives every day. United Way offers more than 10 programs that impact the lives of over 40,000 people each year,” according to Karla Lawrence, Sr. VP Community Initiatives.

The three open positions are:

Director of Grants Management

The primary role of the Director of Grants Management is to work with program directors to establish programmatic and fiscal benchmarks for all grants and monitor to ensure that grant objectives are met on time and within budget. The director is also responsible for compiling grants; researching and analyzing program data; reporting; grant database development and maintenance for the department; facilitates contract writing, procurement and monitoring.

Assistant to the Executive VP & Chief Operating Officer and VP of Operations

The primary role of the Assistant to the Executive VP & Chief Operating Officer and VP of Operations is to provide day-to-day assistance and administrative support to United Way of Central Alabama’s Executive VP & Chief Operating Officer, Kelly Carlton, and to the VP of Operations, Tyler Lowros.

Administrative Assistant for Finance

The primary role of the Administrative Assistant for Finance is to support the Vice President of Finance, Chris Luketic, through general office administration and offer clerical and administrative support to other department staff and volunteers as needed.
