The Alabama Multicultural Organization is a non-profit who’s vision is to “engage people in embracing diversity and cultures through our unique ability to see opportunities in communities where we live, learn and play so that we can have a better understanding of the beauty of life through arts, culture and education.”

The Alabama Coffee Fest is the Alabama Multicultural Organization’s largest fundraiser. Proceeds from the event make up a significant source of funding for the future multicultural center the organization plans to build in downtown Birmingham.

The multicultural center will include art, music, dance, film and theater programs in the hopes of helping people embrace diversity and cultures through arts, culture and education.

The Alabama Multicultural Organization’s acronym is AMOR, which means “love” in Spanish. So love diversity and culture. Love the arts and education. And love coffee at the Alabama Coffee Fest.

“We are thrilled to support various local coffee shops and roasters in the State of Alabama,” said Robert Hernandez, AMOR President. “Coffee is a beverage that is grown and enjoyed throughout the world in so many different cultures around the globe. It is the perfect cultural exchange that promotes inclusion and diversity through the savory flavors and enjoyment of a cup of coffee.”

Local coffee shops and roasters, plus bake shops

The Alabama Coffee Fest will feature over 10 local coffee shops and roasters who will be serving unlimited coffee tastings with their unique beans and flavor profiles, and will also host live demonstrations. Vendors include:
