Birmingham Hammers to play 2018 season at Samford University

Earlier this month, the Birmingham Legion announced that the  Birmingham Hammers soccer team will be playing one last season in the USL PDL league. .  The club will be playing its 2018 season  on the campus of Samford University.

Joining the all-new Deep South division, the Hammers will receive some strong competition before they become the Birmingham Legion in 2019.

Here is the Birmingham Hammers 2018 home schedule.

May 16 – Memphis
June 2 – Mississippi Brilla FC
June 9 – SC United Bantams
June 26 – Trip Cities Otters
June 30 – Peachtree City
July 5 – South Georgia Tormenta

All home games will be played at Samford University. Season tickets costs $35 for 7 home games.

In an interview announcing the new schedule, Morgan Copes, Birmingham Legion FC  Vice President stated, “I am really looking forward to seeing the Hammers play one final season and having the opportunity to begin preparations for 2019.”
