Birmingham Metro Diner opens today

Comfort food meets Birmingham today at the Metro Diner. This place is Guy Fieri approved and Magic City ready.

Eating out here in Bham just got even more delicious. As of today, a Diners, Drive-In’s, and Dives approved hot spot has made its way to Birmingham.

The diner got its start in Florida where it was featured on  Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives in Jacksonville. Since then they have grown exponentially with their impressive take on traditional foods. Now’s your chance to give them a try in your favorite city.

The menu will feature a slew of everyone’s favorite diner classics. In traditional diner style, this place will be serving all day breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Breakfast includes fan favorites like a plate of Fried Chicken and Waffles, Crab Cake Benedict, or even Yo Hala On The Square, their special twist on French Toast.

From Fish and Chips to their signature Metro Pot Roast, their combined lunch and dinner menu has something fantastic for everyone. With dishes below $15, you can expect a lot of bang for your buck. Find their menu here.

Birmingham’s Metro Diner can be found at 180 Inverness Plaza in Hoover. The 3,636-sq. ft. eatery took the place of Steak n’ Shake in that plaza. There will be a Vestavia Hills location in the near future.

Open Sunday through Thursday from 7 am to 8 pm and 7 am to 9 pm on Friday and Saturday.
