Speaking of poodles, these folks sure do know their stuff when it comes to grooming the fluffiest and tang-liest of breeds. I am talking anything from a Giant Schnauzer to a tiny Yorkshire Terrier. They also understand a busy schedule and will be accommodating with making appointments. What more can you ask for from your perfect groomer?
Generation Dog’s Rub-a-Dub-Dog Bathhouse

If you are looking for a groomer that treats your pup like family, look no further than Generation Dog. They work solely by appointment and are cage free so the dogs are only with them for the time they are being groomed. Each dog is given one-on-one care to alleviate any stress. Sounds like quite the home away from home for your furry friends.
Their most common package is our Hairy Hound Package which is the full groom and includes shampoo, condition, clip and file nails, clean and removes hair from ears, check anal glands, hand blow dry, haircut and spritzer and they get a treat and bandana or bow to go home. So basically a full pampering.

Plus reasonable prices make this spot a win for both you and your pet.
Standifer’s Animal Clinic

I couldn’t resist a few more poodle pics but  I also wanted to show off the impressive work of the groomers at Standifer’s Animal Clinic. These guys come highly recommended. Special shout out to groomers, Stephanie and Tiffaney, who are the most caring and friendly people you will ever meet. Standifer’s offers a full-service grooming which includes everything from nail grinding to hand scissoring if needed.
Green Springs Animal Clinic

You can’t get any more local than Green Springs Animal Hospital. This family owned business has got it all. From vet care, boarding, and fantastic grooming this could be your one stop for all things Fido. Expect a pampered pup at pickup these folks know how to show them love and affection while you are gone. Typically dog drop offs must be before 10:30am with pickup between 3pm and 6pm.

This is another cage free and appointment only spot in Birmingham. The Dog House knows how to keep all visits stress free for dogs of all ages, types, and sizes. They strive for the overall well being of your doggo and pride themselves on spending one-on-one time with them. It doesn’t hurt that The Dog House is actually an inviting home with a cute little boutique as well.
Wags ‘N Whiskers Comprehensive Pet Care

They aren’t called Wags ‘N Whiskers Comprehensive Pet Care for nothing. The Wags Salon is definitely a grooming experience. Let them pamper your pup while washing and blow drying their fresh new look. You can trust them to take care of your pet with above average service.
