Customers of Serendipity can now pay using the app on their phone, making their dining more efficient, and giving restaurants like Serendipity insight into their customers’ preferences.

Serendipity’s partnership with Delect shows their support of the startup community within their own building.

Serge Amouzou, owner of Delect, explained at Innovation Depot’s Demo day,

“Restaurants get to see where their customers are, assign them to a table, process orders…and essentially restaurants get to know exactly who you are as a customer and invite you back in…based on your eating preferences.”

Other restaurants that partner with Delect are Chef Tony’s Restaurant, John’s City Diner, Cosecha Urban Kitchen, and The Atomic Lounge.

An easy four step process:
  • Check in at one of Delect’s restaurants
  • Order as you normally would
  • Confirm with your waiter that you are using the app
  • Pay with the push of a button on your phone

Serge said he has high hopes for his future in Birmingham and plans to partner with additional restaurants,

“We want to launch in additional restaurants, such as Roots & Revelry and Sky Castle.”

We love this partnership and are excited for many more in the future!
