Hammer Down! Special Birmingham Hammers Memorial Day weekend
HAMMER DOWN!! This will be a special weekend for fans of the “beautiful game.”
The Birmingham Hammers will be holding two Memorial Day weekend games this Saturday and Monday against the new MLS Atlanta United (U18) club  and the legendary Mexican club, Chivas – Guadalajara  (Under 23 team) squad.

The schedule for this weekend:
Saturday, May 27th 7:00 at Sicard Hollow Athletic Complex – Birmingham Hammers v. Atlanta United
Monday, May 29th, 6:00 at Samford University Soccer Complex, University Park Place, Homewood – Birmingham Hammers v. Chivas de Guadalajara
Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
Unprecedented for the Birmingham soccer community
This weekend’s games will be featuring for the first time in Birmingham clubs from the top US and Mexican professional leagues.
“It’s a special weekend for the Hammers and unprecedented  for the Birmingham soccer community,” stated Chuck Thiele,  owner/partner of Birmingham Hammers, LLC.
“Chivas brings a long traditional and worldwide following. Atlanta United is an exciting and aggressive young team. Â If you love soccer and or want an inexpensive “date night” please join us and #Hammerdown,” concluded Thiele.
