The wait is over. The Standard is finally open and ready for business at the Pizitz Food Hall!

After the opening of Alabama Biscuit Co. a few weeks ago, burgers and dogs are finally on the Pizitz Food Hall menu thanks to their newest establishment. The Standard brings you a little taste of Bham in our global cuisine focused food hall.

We can officially say there is something for everyone at Bham’s popular Pizitz Food Hall. Who knew Bham delicacies could fit in with international cuisine so well? Chef Matt Ralph definitely had an idea. The chef and owner wanted to update the classic Birmingham burger. He did just that with his trendy and conceptual burger.

So, what can you get exactly? Their menu hosts a slew of burgers some of which are the traditional cheeseburger, a patty melt with Pimento cheese, and a veggie burger with a little spice. Prices range from $5 – $8 for these entrees. These simple but tasty burgers are made of select in-house ground meat. That extra step sure does take these burgers to the next level.

Their hot dogs sound just as yummy. Their menu features a Birmingham-style dog with a beef sauce you can’t beat, as well as a slaw dog with house-made coleslaw. You can also count on them for a Nathan’s Famous all-beef dog. Prices range from $3.50 – $7.

You also get the option of add-ons. Choose from extra patties, cheese, pimento cheese, fried egg or even some bacon jam.

Affordable meets tasty at The Standard. Check them out Mondays through Thursdays from 11 am to 8 pm, Fridays and Saturdays 11 am to 10 pm and Sundays noon to 6 pm.
