Early Spring: beautiful photos of the Birmingham Botanical Gardens “blooming” by Bham Now’s Larry O. Gay

Birmingham Botanical Gardens

It’s March in Birmingham and everything is “blooming.”

Bham Now photographer Larry O. Gay made visits to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens at the end of February and on March 1st to capture the gardens flowering after two straight weeks of spring-like weather.

Will Birmingham’s early Spring continue?  Other than a chilly Friday night that may see the temps touch the freezing mark, Birmingham should expect 60-70 degree weather for the next 10 days, according to the The Weather Channel.

By the way, Birmingham Bill, our resident groundhog at the Birmingham Zoo predicted an early Spring.

Bill, you nailed it!

Enjoy Larry’s beautiful photos.
