Alabama Power’s Renew Our Rivers program is one of those environmental service programs that quietly makes a difference in so many communities – it is unimaginable what our state’s waterways, lakes and shorelines would look like without it.

Just check out the numbers.

Renew Our Rivers was established 18 years ago.  Since then….

100,000 volunteers have participated in the program.

14 million pounds of trash has been collected

In 2016 – 3652 volunteers collected 346,700 pounds of trash

This week, Renew our Rivers released their 2017 cleanup schedule. This year make a difference in your community.  Volunteer for the Renew Our Rivers program.
