Little Donkey is coming to 280
From Homewood to Nashville, this locally owned restaurant just keeps on expanding. Homewood’s very own Little Donkey is opening up their newest location along U.S. 280 later this year.
Little Donkey opened April 2012, in Homewood on Central Avenue. Four years later, they have expanded to Nashville, Morgantown, West Virgina, and now back to its roots in Birmingham. The newest location will be at 5361 U.S 280, in the same shopping center as Big Bad Breakfast.
They pride themselves on their made-from-scratch, Southern-influenced Mexican food. Fan favorites include their fresh catfish tacos and famous spicy fried chicken. With their fun atmosphere and southern hospitality, it has become a go-to restaurant in the Birmingham area for residents and visitors alike.
Expansion won’t stop there. Little Donkey might just be popping up in Montgomery, Rosemary Beach and 30A in Florida, and in Charleston South Carolina.
