Are you ready for the snow?

Got milk? Bread? Are you prepared for the first snowstorm of 2017?

Winn Dixie Milk Be prepared Birmingham. Milk (check). Bread (check). — Local Winn Dixie store off Montevallo Road. was stocking up on milk this afternoon before the incoming snow storrm

According to WBRC Fox 6 meteorologist J-P Dice, Birmingham and all points north of I-20 should expect about an inch of snow and ice accumulation tomorrow. Areas a little bit south of Birmingham and east starting from Alabaster to Anniston, can expect 2 or more inches of snow, according to the latest weather models.

Be mindful, these are all predictions that are 12-18 hours before the first snowflake hits the ground. It might change.

Local schools are not taking chances. Many have already closed their doors for Friday.

The big question – will we get enough to go sledding?
