In the 2014 election, the lowest young adult turnout rate was recorded for the federal election. UAB’s Undergraduate Student Government Association is trying it’s best to change that.

The USGA has provided an incentive for all students to cast a vote this Tuesday. With just a proof of voting, i.e a selfie outside of your polling station, or an I voted sticker, students can receive a UAB Votes t-shirt in exchange.

The trade will take place Tuesday, November 8th, and Wednesday, November 9th from 10am – 2pm in the Hill Student Center.
This giveaway is a great way to get students thinking about the importance of their vote and provides a reward for those who put the effort in to make a difference.
