The Collat School of Business has been receiving a lot of recognition lately with their expanded offering of a brand new Human Resource Management Degree Program and their AASCB accredited Accounting program. With such accomplishments, investors have taken notice resulting in a new home for future business students.

There will be an innovation lab for the growth of the entrepreneurial spirit of students, as well as a top of the line Accounting/Finance Suite thanks to a Birmingham accounting firm, Kassouf & Co.
This new, state of the art facility will be a great addition to this ever changing campus. They plan to break ground in fall 2016.

Los Dos Hermanos Taco Truck If you have yet to try out this awesome food truck you are missing out on a Birmingham gem. They are well known for their carnitas and tacos. Make sure you avoid getting there around noon or you’ll be stuck in a long line.
It has been quite a journey for the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Football team. It’s been two years since the program was shut down and nearly one year since it was reinstated because of the public outcry from the UAB and Birmingham community.

Cahaba Brewing Co. has announced the coming introduction, in early September, of OKA UBA IPA (indigenous name of Cahaba River), and Oktoberfest.
