Got to admit. This is one of the most creative and important fundraising events in Birmingham.

Brian Wilson, the lead singer of The Beach Boys, is currently on tour in honor of the 50th anniversary of “Pet Sounds” – one of the most magical albums ever (okay, that’s totally my opinion, but it really is a masterpiece).
Wilson will be making a 2017 tour stop at the BJCC Concert Hall along with his band to perform “Pet Sounds” in its entirety. Fans will also hear some of their favorite Beach Boys tunes and solo material of Wilson’s.
I will refrain from making any Beach Boys puns… LOL just kidding – wouldn’t it be nice to see you there! God only knows that you’ll have FUN FUN FUN.
Check out the legend playing live on May 9th! Tickets go on sale October 21st at 10AM. More info here.
The flowers and plants lining Highland Avenue in Birmingham’s historic Highland Park Neighborhood are spectacular and beautiful. We absolutely love them and the city does an incredible job.
But, we are in the middle of a drought that is about to get worse. This video of the flowers and plants being watered today (October 12) along Highland Avenue will likely be the last “watering” of these flowers/plants for a good while, especially now that the Birmingham Water Works Board is considering the implementation of strong water conservation measures.

Since the overhaul of highway 280 a few years back, drivers are currently content with traffic conditions and so are businesses. This has given way to the overall improvement of 280’s aesthetic and property development.
Up next for 280… American Ninja Warrior and Parkour courses, flying trapeze and some sort of a rock wall for bouldering.
What do you get when you combine fine wines, fresh Whole Foods ingredients, and Chef Franklin Biggs?
