Notes Happy Monday! We love your coverage of Birmingham!! I wanted to share something really exciting that's happening during the world games. We have brought in Mercy Chefs to prepare meals for the volunteers, athletes and event staff. FeedBHM was initially going to rescue any extra food and take it to the shelters... but they needed the food taken to the venues and so we have caravans a volunteers bringing food in and out constantly. we are feeding over 2,000 volunteers per day and rescuing over a 1000 pounds of food for our community each day. We could use more volunteers in our web app... This will be happening until the end of the world games... would you consider checking it out and sharing it?
