What Makes You a Great Fit

• Excellent writing skills — You can turn even the driest topic into engaging copy (without relying on exclamation points).
• Photography skills — You and your camera are BFFs. You understand framing, lighting, and love capturing great shots. Comfortable in front of or behind the lens.
• Bonus: Experience with video projects or script writing.
• Relevant college major — Journalism, PR, communications, or advertising.
• Curious + resourceful — Researching deeply and communicating clear, concise takeaways is your default mode.
• Social media savvy — You know your way around Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok—and you have opinions about what works and what doesn’t.
• Team player — You believe collaboration makes everything better.
• Creative with a sense of humor — Or you fake it exceptionally well.
• Organized + efficient — You know how to manage your time and get. things. done.
• Strong communicator — Comfortable emailing, calling, or presenting to clients, CEOs, or even complete strangers.
• Open to feedback — You value critique as part of mastering your craft.
• Fast-paced friendly — You work quickly, meet deadlines, and juggle multiple projects while staying cool.
• Proactive learner — You love researching best practices for content and media development… for fun.
• Reliable transportation — You can get around Birmingham as needed.
