We’re looking for an experienced Content Producer with expert reel creation + advertising copy writing and a strong passion for Greater Birmingham.

– Professional, corporate experience in content creation (social media + creating social reels + TikToks + copy writing)
– You LOVE social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn + TikTok.) You use it personally + professionally.
– Research trends + algorithm updates to create content that serves your audience in an up-to-date, modern way.
– Experienced at creating advertising campaigns for social – writing ad copy, choosing the most compelling visuals + tracking progress.
– Supporting clients + the challenge of crushing a client’s goal while serving your audience first.
– Solid research experience. You know how to dig in a topic to get to succinct findings and take-aways.
– Confident at interviewing and know how to ask informed questions.
– You’re a team player (peers, managers +others) are core to your success.
– You thrive in a FAST-paced environment and know how to make deadlines.
– You’re organized + efficient + juggle multiple priorities.
– Communicating confidently and professionally in email, over the phone or in a presentation with clients, CEOs or strangers on the street comes naturally to you.
– You welcome feedback and constructive criticism and know that learning from others is how you will perfect your craft.
– Benchmarking with other accounts and a/b testing is second nature to you.

Required:
Education:
B.S. in Marketing, Advertising or B.A in Journalism, Communications or PR.

Experience/Knowledge:
– 3+ years of corporate social content creation with emphasis on reel creation + ad copy writing.
– 3+ years of professional writing, researching and fact finding.
– Expert ad creation – from phone filmed video, photography + ad copy that stops the scroll while being on point with your brand.
– Skilled at client support.
– Passion and knowledge for the Birmingham area and the state of Alabama.
– Must be comfortable being in front or, or behind the camera.

Software Tools Experience:
– Video editing with Capcut, Canva, Edits.
– Social analytics (Metricool, Social Status or other)
– WordPress + other publishing software, a plus.
