Position Summary:

This position will serve as primary administrative support for the Workplace Campaign team.

Responsibilities:

Administrative support includes oral and written communication with volunteers and donors, database management, report preparation for staff and volunteers, preparation of mailings, proofreading documents, collation of meeting materials, filing, phone reception, customer service, project management and other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills:

Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Strong administrative and clerical skills (maintaining donor files, typing, answering phones, mail merges, purchase orders, email, & postage machine)

Experience working with a CRM database or equivalent

Ability to draft and edit memos and letters

Excellent phone communication skills

Ability to perform effectively in a team environment

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

High level of organization

Self-motivated and goal oriented

Good listener

Attention to detail and time management

Able to establish priorities and work with multiple tasks

Genuine interest in the United Way mission

Other duties as assigned

Education:                           

Associates or bachelors degree preferred.

 

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in an administrative role preferred.
