Cornerstone HealthMD is hosting a walk-in community clinic in Birmingham providing access to a board-certified addiction medicine physician for individuals seeking help with substance use disorders.
Patients can be evaluated and start treatment for substance use disorder (including buprenorphine/Suboxone for opioid or kratom use) during the visit, with virtual follow-up care available afterward to help patients continue treatment.
In addition to addiction care, the physician can also evaluate simple urgent care concerns and weight management issues in a primary-care–style visit. While procedures are not available at this clinic, patients can receive medical evaluation, prescriptions when appropriate, and guidance on next steps for care.
This clinic is designed to improve same-day access to addiction treatment and medical care for members of the Birmingham community.
Walk-ins are welcome.
Cost: $75 per visit
