Volunteer Opportunity: Cahaba Blueway Cleanup Series – February 23, 2025

When: Sunday, February 23rd, 2025 – 9:00am to 12:00pm
Where: Cahaba Blueway access point at US HWY. 280 You will see a yellow volunteer day sign at the meeting location. See further parking and other information here.
What: We will be doing both a walking and canoe cleanup along the Cahaba River. We will provide all necessary items to participate in this Cahaba River cleanup event. We ask that you dress accordingly for the weather and wear closed toe shoes such as boots or tennis shoes. You will have the option to participate in the canoe cleanup or the walking cleanup. We recommend bring a small backpack or bag with a water bottle, snacks, and anything you may need while participating in this event.
