Tasting Workshop: The World of Tea

Join Raani Coffee’s Praveena Sundarraj for a deep dive into the global world of tea. Praveena is a beverage developer, coffee roaster, and Q Grader who launched Dryft Coffee (now Raani Coffee) in Birmingham. Sundarraj was raised as the fourth generation of a tea-growing family in Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu, India. This program will illustrate various tea types and brewing methods and end with a tasting of different varieties. After the workshop, be sure to visit the stunning tea sets in the BMA’s newest exhibition, Silver & Ceremony from Southern Asia, 1830–1930.
