Tasting Workshop: The World of Coffee

Join Raani Coffee’s Praveena Sundarraj for a deep dive into the global world of coffee. Praveena is a beverage developer, coffee roaster, and Q Grader who launched Dryft Coffee (now Raani Coffee) in Birmingham. She will discuss her childhood growing up on a fourth generation tea farm in India, which led to her extraordinary career in coffee. This program will discuss different types of coffee and cultural brewing methods and will end with a tasting of global brews. After the workshop, be sure to visit the standout coffee sets in the BMA’s newest exhibition, Silver & Ceremony from Southern Asia, 1830–1930.
