Get ready for one of Homewood’s most delicious traditions. The 23rd Annual Taste of Homewood returns Thursday, March 19, bringing together an exciting lineup of local culinary favorites for one unforgettable evening.
From Southern BBQ, sushi, tacos, sweet treats and sips, this beloved community event is your chance to experience the flavors that make Homewood so special—all in one place.

Taste of Homewood—event details
Get ready to party in the heart of downtown Homewood at Soho Square Plaza, right in front of City Hall.
This lively, community-focused event allows restaurants to showcase their best bites while guests enjoy unlimited tastings and sips from places they know and love—plus a few they may not have tried yet.
- When: Thursday, March 19 | 5:30–8PM
- Where: Soho Square Plaza
- Cost: $35 in advance | $40 day of event
Hot Tip: Upon arrival, you’ll receive a voting token to cast your vote for your favorite eatery. The three restaurants with the most votes will take home trophies—and major bragging rights.

Food Rescue Initiative supports local families
In an effort to reduce food waste and give back to the community, Taste of Homewood 2026 is continuing its Food Rescue Initiative.
Any remaining food from the event will be donated to Grace Klein Community, helping provide nutritious meals to local families in need.
Guests can also participate by bringing canned food items to donate. Donation bins will be placed throughout the venue, making it easy to give back while you indulge.
