Sunday Supper Club feat. Chefs Wil Drake & Paul Yeck

Chef Paul Yeck grew up in Oxford, MS where meals with his family made him aware of the strong connections that can be made at the table. His love of those memories and the food that bound him to them was the catalyst for his career in the culinary arts. Attending the French Culinary Institute and working in kitchens in New York City and Brooklyn, Paul learned essential skills before taking a position with Chef Jose Andres in Washington, DC where he worked from 2009-2013. Eager to return to the South, Paul moved to Birmingham, AL to become the Chef de Cuisine at Bottega Dining Room and Café. Paul began to see exciting changes in the culinary landscape around him when he decided to shift from the fine dining model to partner with PRG as their Executive Chef. In December 2025, Paul left the company to join with friends Wil Drake, Adam Green, and Stephen Moody in founding Greenhouse Hospitality. Since then, they have opened Full Circle Doughnuts and New Shoes Soft Serve, both located in Homewood. Paul and his wife live in Birmingham with their three children.

Chef Wil Drake is a Birmingham chef and restaurateur who began his career in pastry kitchens, barbecue restaurants, and burger joints before working in London and studying whole animal butchery in Ireland. He started HERO Doughnuts as a pop-up, selling brioche doughnuts at farmers markets and record stores, and grew it into a restaurant brand.

Today, Wil has come full circle. Alongside Paul Yeck, Adam Green, and Stephen Moody, he founded Greenhouse Hospitality and brought his original HERO location back under a new name, Full Circle Doughnuts. The team also opened New Shoes Soft Serve, a neighborhood shop built around playful flavors and local ingredients. Through Greenhouse, Wil and his partners are growing their own concepts while sharing their experience and resources with other hospitality businesses.

Wil lives in Bluff Park with his wife, daughter, and their 75-pound pitty.
