Roots in the Ground Fundraiser

Join us for a picnic on Jones Valley Teaching Farm’s downtown farm to support the Community Garden Project Fund! Enjoy a relaxing afternoon with a delicious picnic buffet, free beer & wine, line dancing lessons, garden updates, and a silent auction. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair, raise a glass & settle in for a meal among the crops.

Each year, the fund provides grants to new and emerging community gardeners who have completed our Good Community Food Fellowship. Since 2022, it has helped build and expand 9 community gardens across Alabama!
