National Welding Month Celebration at Fortis Institute in Birmingham

In honor of National Welding Month, Fortis Institute Birmingham will host a campus-wide celebration highlighting the talent and craftsmanship of its Welding program students and faculty. Community members are invited to participate in “Try a Weld Day,” where attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the profession and try a hands-on welding project under the guidance of Fortis students and instructors. The event will also feature a Metal Arts Showcase, displaying original sculptures and metal artwork created by Fortis welding students, offering a creative look at the skill and artistry involved in the trade.
