Moth Night at Turkey Creek Nature Preserve

Are you mesmerized by moths? Join the Jefferson County Greenways Naturalists and moth expert Stott Noble at the Turkey Creek Nature Preserve Pavilion for a moth-some evening filled with engaging activities, education, and fun! We will have a short animal program featuring nocturnal natives, followed by a guided hike, a game, and a craft. After the sun sets, we will gather around the moth sheet for live moth viewing and identification. It’s going to be moth-nificent!
Accessibility: The moth-watching portion of the event will take place in an ADA-accessible Pavilion with bathrooms. The guided hike will follow a flat, grass trail with no elevation change for approximately ¼ mile. This hike is not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs
Disclaimer: This program has limited space available. Please register to attend.
