Monet to Matisse Opening Night, Featured Lecture and Reception

Celebrate the opening of Monet to Matisse, presented by PNC Bank, in Birmingham! The evening will kick off with a reception followed by a lecture featuring Gloria Groom, chair of Painting and Sculpture of Europe and the David and Mary Winton Green Curator at the Art Institute of Chicago. A leading expert in nineteenth-century French painting, Groom has organized related exhibitions on Monet, Cezanne, and many others. Following the lecture, the exhibition will remain open for special evening viewing until 9pm.

Tickets to the event are limited, and registration for members and non-members is required. Members will receive free entry to the evening’s events. Event admission for non-members, including access to the Monet to Matisse exhibition, is $19.51.
